Have you been thinking about adding some colour to your house, but you're not sure you're ready to make an all-out colour commitment? Well, here's an easy way to add just a hint of colour in an unexpected place... on the edge of a door!

How's that for a totally easy, and non-committal way to bring a touch of colour into a room?! Of course, you can always go all-out and paint the whole door a fun colour with a contrasting colour on the edge...

I think the coloured door edge would take some getting used to and possibly some explaining but it would grow on me, just like those tiny hinge adornments :)

ReplyDeleteYou know I like that idea. Whether it's just the edge or a colourful door with contrasting edge. I'm not afraid of painting doors and that was yet a plan for our new home. I have had my eye on the door to the powder room but I may now look around and perhaps also do an edge here and there in our new place. Thanks for the inspiration Kelly

What a fun idea! Such a small spot, but with the right pop of color would make a huge impact.
